Software Upgrades

Joomla! 1.5 has been released and addresses several of the issues I've been having with the server. I'm going to work to transfer information to a 1.5 install and then replace the existing site.

This will take me a little time, but will provide better information at the end, I think. For example, I won't be installing a secondary SEF plug-in as I think the internal system is sufficient.

This will, hopefully, allow me to add more content without overtaxing the server here.

Wish me luck :)

Continued Issues

I've been unable to identify the problem with the server software and fear that it's going to take a serious site rebuild to fix the problem.

In the mean time, I've got the site public with just the basic information. As soon as I get a chance, I'll get the site reconstructed and will, hopefully, take care of the server-load problem.

I'm seriously considering rebuilding on Joomla 1.5, even though it's still in the release candidate stage.

Sorry about the delay.
