For some time, I had been unhappy with the rather spartan appearance of APAStyle.Info. I had originally coded documents using text-based tools. While they were W3C compliant, they were a bit drab. I was looking for something to both spice up the site and ease the creation of new content.

In fact, you may have noticed that there were almost no changes to this site between February 2005 and December 2006. This is because I took a new job in Washington, DC, and between family life, academic work, and employment, I just ran out of time. 

I have moved APAStyle.Info into a new content management system, which I think will improve its appearance to site visitors, increase the number of features I can offer, and make my life easier - particularly regarding the creation of new content. See, for example, the user poll to the left.

This has not been an easy task, since I had to move content from single HTML pages to the new content database. And it's not yet complete. But I wanted to move forward with the update now. I'm not finished with the site yet, by any means.
